CPD Launch Time Saving “Fast-Fix” Lighting
CPD Distribution plc, the specialist ceiling and commercial interior product distributor, has launched a revised lighting range, including a new plug and play luminaire that allows interior fit-out contractors to readily offer the installation of lighting as an extra service within the ceiling package.
The new luminaire, available exclusively from CPD, is appropriately named Combi Fast-Fix and is fitted with a pre-wired integral socket which permits fast and simple electrical connection to be undertaken by any competent ceiling installer, using plug-in interlink leads and tee pieces. This ingenious technology offers contractors the opportunity to increase the value of the ceiling package whilst providing an improved service, as it eliminates the time consuming disputes and often costly remedial work associated with electrical engineers fitting luminaires on a newly installed ceiling. Only the final electrical and circuit control wiring requires the work of an electrical engineer.
Supplied ready to install, with body, louvre and lamps all in one box, Combi Fast-Fix saves time and money on site and is easy to order. Contractors don’t even have to worry about ceiling compatibility, as the product fits both 15 and 24mm exposed tee grids as standard. And when the installation is complete and ready for hand over, the luminaire’s protective film is simply peeled away leaving a clean, pristine product.

CPD have also launched Pace XL, a versatile budget conscious range of standard lay-in recessed modular lighting and Combi, which offers body and attachment packed together in a waste reducing single box. A full choice of LG3:2001 compliant or general purpose louvres and prismatic controllers are offered in all the new ranges, along with energy saving high frequency and fully integrated emergency conversion options.
The new ranges, created in partnership with respected manufacturer Dextra Lighting, are now in stock and complement the extensive selection of suspended ceiling systems available from CPD’s network of 29 branches.
